Peter Parr started carving at the age of eight and has over many decades become one of the more talented Inuit artists to come out of the small Arctic community of Cape Dorset, Nunavut.  Peter is the son of world famous Inuit artist Nuna Parr who artwork gains top dollar at galleries all over the world.  The similarities in there work is uncanny.  You can tell by viewing their pieces together that Nuna has taught his son very well.   Peter Parr's popularity has risen in recent years and the artist hopes to follow in his fathers footsteps and become one of the world's best Inuit artists.  This sculpture, weighing in at over 11lbs. is a wonderful example of Inuit art at it's very finest.
