This beautifully colored creation was carved by Inuk artist Johnny Kilabuk of Iqaluit, Nunavut.  Pictures due no justice to this piece, as there is a unique mix of vibrant green coloring mixed with the brown serpentine.  In natural light it is something to behold.  To carve such a realistic Polar Bear with it's head turned is no easy feat.  Johnny is a vetran artist who is very highly regarged in Inuit Art circes the world over.
