Inuit artist Tommy Ahikutuktuk is with out a doubt one of Inuit art's finest caribou antler carvers.  His ability to capture an entire scene on a single piece of antler is nothing short of remarkable.  The piece depicts an Inuit hunter in his kayak attempting to spear a Narwhal.  The hunter comes complete with all the tools such as a spear, paddle ect.  The hunter himself is pegged to the antler and can be removed with ease as well as the spear.  The antler stands upright with the help of a caribou antler peg which is visible in the pictures.   With such an attention for detail Tommy's works are coveted by Inuit art galleries and collectors alike.
